Barnes, what happens if an individual declines to follow an executive order (purposefully or not)?
The executive order issued here was specifically for the SoFE, and seeing as that is a federal executive department, the President would determine the consequences (if any).

It appears that Homely normally does post the draft ballot before the polls open, just out of principle. Obviously, his failure to do so this time was not out of an intentional desire to create problems. Thus, as I see it, had this executive order been issued three months ago, Homely could still very well have made the same mistake and we'd be exactly where we are today: without a way of actually
rectifying the error.
That is why I will continue to push for the passage of the
Election Do-Over Act.
By all means, this bill is a work in progress—it may drastically change. I hope we'll be able to reach a consensus in the senate.

Had this executive order been issued three months ago, I would have been asking Homely where the f-kk the ballot is before the election ever started.

Not every president will be the Great Napoleon.
If the SoFE is absentee, the responsibility to administer the election falls to the Deputy SoFE, or the President. This is a requirement for the election administrator, so if the SoFE isn't available to post a sample ballot, someone else will have to.

It's a matter of how much faith you place in the words "have to." While you may do a great job of enforcing your executive order, future presidents may not. In that case, whether the SoFE, Deputy SoFE, or whoever "has to" do something means very little.

Well, why have faith in the SoFE to follow any requirements, right?

Because most of those requirements are codified in Atlasian law, not executive orders. And the failure to meet these
legal
requirements would carry more repurcussions than the failure to meet your executive orders. That's why I want a law.

What's "Far Left", "Regionalist", and "Centrist"? Are they lumpings of the Tweedist gang, the Bloc/MCPR, and the moderate heroes?

"Far left" is the Washburnist Socialist Revolutionary Party, the Communist Party of Atlasia, the Earth Liberation Party and the Mustafina National Front.
"Regionalist" is just the Imperial Bloc. The MCPR never ran a candidate in a nationwide election.
"Centrist" represents the Moderate Party and various unaffiliated center-left and center-right candidates. It's not a really meaningful category - just think of it as "other".

If TPP starts running its own candidates, it will get its own column in the table.

I don't, because you haven't run for nationwide office in the time period summarized by the table, as far as I remember.
