The next At-Large election will be held on August 21-23 and Blair resigned on July 27. So it's time for a special election, I'm right?

Yes, of course. But we're in the strange position of having no RG (no updated official list with which to check the validity of ballots) and having no declared candidates for Blair's seat. Hopefully those issues can be resolved by this time next week.

I've managed to run Northeast elections without having an RG or updated official list.  I don't think it would be much of a problem for you to do so.  You'd just need to take into account changes that occurred after the RG was banned.  There weren't a ton of changes, except for a few region changes and deregistrations.

Reminder: the special election ends at midnight tonight EST (1:00 AM EDT). I believe that the count currently stands at 33-27 in favor of Altsomn Stmarken, with 2 invalid and 1 write-in. Turnout has just broken 40% with a little over two hours of voting left.

Entirely possible that this was the lowest turnout national election in Atlasian history.

Keep in mind the fact that several posters deregistered in the past few weeks, so you need fewer voters to get a higher turnout.
