The election is in a week, so you guys don't have much time to decide. Tongue

If I'm not reelected to the Assembly, I'm moving there to get back in the Senate help revitalize the government.
I'm seriously considering this as well.

Shouldn't opebo count as a first preference for me?
I don't think so. I think that may be a similar circumstance to what happened in June 2009, though my memory is foggy.

The Mideast has once again taken the top spot in terms of turnout. Good to see!

The Kalwejt, Snowguy and Nathan string of victories was the pinnacle of interesting, fun, and competitive elections.

lollllllllll youngins.

I can think of many more dramatic as well, especially Lief-Pit, June '09. Wink

Don't know where else to say this...

Back in January, we passed an amendment lowering registration requirements to 18 posts and 7 days. I'd like to add it, but one of the few things I don't know on the Wiki is how to add an amendment as a tab on the bottom.

If someone experienced could include this amendment in our Constitution, it'd be great! Smiley

I declare that the Whig Party primary shall be held on 9 September, 2012. Shall I have the right to have the primary, as the Whig Party is an official major party of Atlasia, posted on the elections board, and reviewed by the SoFE?

I don't think you have that right, unless there's some statute I'm overlooking. I'd prefer that you not post it on the elections board (I think it should be reserved for official, nonpartisan government business). I'd be happy to count the election for you, but I will not do it in an official capacity.
FWIW, the last primary I recall was a Democratic Alliance primary for the Mideast Senate seat, and it was held on the elections board.

Surprised by turnout in the Pacific. Good work guys! Smiley

It is unacceptable that the Mideast not finish first in turnout!!!

I assume this means 25 posts on the forum as a whole, not just posts in the Atlasia forum?

Is that correct?  Someone please clarify.
Correct.

Wait, why is John Engle's vote invalid? He is Iowa's Governor.

Even though he cannot be on there personally, it is great to see such as great Atlasian appearing on the ballot.

Clarence is getting first preferences from people needed for someone center-right to win in Atlasia. Combine that with the high number of second preferences from Kalwejt voters, and right now, I think he's on track to victory.
