Stephen Colbert or Jon Stewart?

I'm a big fan of both The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. I'd have to say I prefer Colbert, but not by much. In my mind, they're almost equal.

I'd have to say Jon Stewart, but not necessarily by much. I just think that when he's cutting into the other side he does it with more wit.

Erm.. Don't think that is provable.
I like them both however for a Brit Stewarts reference pool is easier to understand.

Stewart seems to force himself to the center at times when he criticizes MSNBC for much more petty things than the right-wing media. Colbert is much funnier, anyway, though I like and watch both.

Stewart, easily. I don't find Colbert funny at all. Stewart is great, though.

Definitely Jon Stewart. Colbert and his various antics grate sometimes, whereas Stewart's almost always on the ball.

Neither are funny but I'll always love Colbert's "Better Know A District" with Mike Castle. That one is still a tear jerker.

Stewart, by far. I'm pretty sure he's contributed to my steady shift to the left over the last several years. I don't really like Colbert.

Colbert is far more talented. Stewart has been treading water for a long while now.

Stewart's arm flailing and face pulling is beyond grating. It's like watching Jim Carrey sometimes. I'm still not sure why people call his show 'satirical'; that's
The Colbert Report
, not
The Daily Show
.

Stewart is funnier but Colbert does the better "satire", I still prefer watching The Daily Show. Stewart is also far funnier on non-political things.

I like them both quite a bit but lean ever so slightly toward preferring The Colbert Report.

Colbert. Stewart takes himself too seriously.
