If Mitt Romney is not the Republican nominee, I will probably support Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, who, while not ideal, is preferable to Santorum, Gingrich, or Paul. And, my avatar notwithstanding, I live in Ohio, and my vote counts very much.

This feels like the sort of thing I shift again before the election, but for now I'm quite serious. Thoughts?

Although I'm not a registered Republican, I plan on voting for Romney over Obama if Romney is the nominee. If Santorum somehow manages to get the nod, though, I'll probably vote for Libertarian as well.

Why Gary Johnson over Ron Paul?

Go ahead.  It's better to vote with your conscience, than vote for the lesser of two evils.

If Wayne Allyn Root is on the ticket again (even as the running-mate the Governor Johnson) don't do it. Just write-in Ron Paul. W.A.R. is a Republican and a major league douche. In fact, he may even be an All Time Achiever in the douche category.
