Mittens' intonations really did not convey "the love."  It seemed more like complementing some lady on how pretty she looks, when she  in fact borders on being in the paper bagger category. So you just do it, to be polite. Michigan's lakes don't impress me by the way. That is what happens when your topography is basically a pancake. And when I lived in Michigan, I drove a Volvo.  Tongue

Mitt is really a geek. So what? He's still a good guy with a big heart and a big brain.

That show Big Bang Theory is enormously popular among females. Chicks dig geeks. Chicks will dig Romney's geekiness.

That show Big Bang Theory is enormously popular among people with bad taste. People with bad taste dig flat, one-dimensional characters. People with bad taste will dig Romney's flatness.

I can see where you're going with this, actually.

What chicks dig are people who are presented as geeks by television writers and executives despite being more or less conventionally attractive and either not having personalities that exist in large numbers in reality or being explicitly coded as in need of 'fixing' by a 'normal' girl.

When chicks start digging shows in which all the male characters are nebbishy Bartleby the Scrivener types and all the girls are interested in what Sarah Coakley has to say about Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, then get back to me.
