B+. That's actually pretty good.  Only problem is that he is a Bush.

B- unpopular, scandal-plagued governor, but unlikely to say or do anything particularly embarrassing. Also, Rick would do well to put a woman on the ticket.

Both of the above are the same thing. So I say D- (allowing for Santorum standards a bit).

The Terminator

Not eligible - the actor isn't native born, and the machine is 41 years too young.

A- "moderately pro-choice" in her own words but still has strong conservative credentials. Sane Hawk that straddles the line between traditional Goldwater nationalist and neocon. A good academic. Minority. Woman. Foreign Policy Experience. What's not to like?

He'd be good, but he's only served 2 years as Governor. He'd make the Obama campaign work much harder in swingy Nevada.

B+ - she's the more conservative of the "Ladies of Maine", and is sort of the anti-Palin in that she's got a long, well-regarded career in public service and no tendency toward gaffes. Not great geographically, though.

Overall good, but a bit old (68). Maybe he'd seal the deal on swinging NC back to the Republicans.
