You're quite hunky anvi, and hardly look like an egghead at all! You need to start drinking protein drinks in the morning however. I suggest Pro-Lean with orange juice.

Good tip, Torie, thanks! I do gym work three days a week, but at 41, the system just ain't as efficient as it was at 21, and I don't expect the task to get any easier, so I need all the help I can get. I never liked the egghead look anyway, I'm a small-town kid from North Dakota who grew up around wheat farmers and electricians, and spent my summer vacations from high school working in bowling alleys and loading trucks.
The one I feel sorry for is the girlfriend. She is quite cute, don't you think? Smart too, she is a neuroscientist. Poor thing lost a bad Texas Hold'em bet, got me, and hasn't stopped crying since.

I was a very scrawny kid because I was born with a heart problem. But, after that was fixed, I joined my junior high wrestling team and started lifting weights, and suddenly all six of my older brothers were scared of me. Of course, they might have been scared for different reasons...

That picture was actually taken at Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia (my girlfriend lives and works in Halifax). I'm not sure you made it to Peggy's Cove when you visited there last year?

That's quite the longdistance relationship, then?

Yeah, Lewis, it is. It's difficult, because despite lots of efforts, we just can't seem to nail down jobs in the same city, and we've both been moving around a bit. It seems there is a university hiring freeze across the entire known universe these days too, so, yeah, that part kind of stinks.

She is currently doing spinal cord research. She used to do work in mapping entire simple neural networks, but has moved in the last ten years to the spinal cord. I can get more specific if you want, but that's her area.
Somebody else should post some pics!

Far too nice to mix. Though IIRC there's a difference between Chilene Pisco and Peruvian Pisco, which is what I'm familiar with.
