It's issues like this that really hammer home the sort of contradictory nature of the moderating system though. Enforcement decisions are either made on a very literal basis (Mikado just blindly citing the terms of service and saying nothing else) or made based on the personal prudishness of a moderator who finds something distasteful despite being legal in most places.

Level of enforcement is always going to be uneven between the moderators but expecting what you enforce to be uniform across the different boards is not an unfair expectation. This is a weird thing to suddenly hit a nerve in me about the moderating system I guess, but there are certain things that are just ridiculous and this is certainly one of them. There is absolutely no legitimate terms-of-service based explanation for why that was deleted.

The prudes always seem to get worked up when it comes to sex and young adults/teenagers. It reminds me of the states where the age of consent is 16/17 but having sexual/nude pictures of anybody under 18 is treated as child pornography so you can get thrown in jail and put on sex offender registry lists for having pictures of someone you're legally able to have sex with.
