In OH-2 last week, Jean Schmidt was not the only victim of a primary upset. Democratic candidate David Krikorian, who was widely expected to win the party's nomination,
lost to William R. Smith who neither raised money nor campaigned, but had RoboCalls done on his behalf by a SuperPac
.

IIRC Krikorian is a somewhat leftish Ron Paul supporter (I remember him from '08). No dirty tricks at all...

I suspect that this William Smith person will not campaign in the general election, either, still relying on his SuperPAC; this could very well be a campaign against SuperPACs by demonstrating how they can subvert the democratic process.
