This will be my office in New York City, where all official governing will be conducted. I would appreciate any non-government discussion or commentary be directed to my
Hartford office
, where you can expect a prompt response.

Legislation from past sessions is not within my jurisdiction, I have believed this when I was a legislator and feel the same way as an executive...if it is reconsidered by the Assembly I will be happy to deal with it.

I will introduce a repeal bill in the Assembly.
I was expressing my views on this bill.
I believe this bill goes way over the top.

I've been fairly busy as of late, so I don't know what you have signed, or what you haven't this session. If need be, I'll find some time when I can and post it here.

I am formally requesting the Assembly to reinstate the third legislative slot in some form or another. There are many low profile items I would like to work with the Assembly on without detracting from anything else.
Thank you,
Governor Napoleon

Is that really necessary? I don't have a problem with amending the SOAP, but two slots have been sufficient so far.

It appears that way, yet not a single piece of legislation has been signed into law this session. A third slot will help review and consolidate older laws so we can reorganize our statute. This will help future Representatives know what laws are still in effect and what current policies are. Currently things can be confusing.

Two pieces of legislation have passed the Assembly. Is the governor's signature not needed for constitutional amendments and the SOAP?

Correct. And the constitutional amendment still is not law.

Governor Napoleon would like to officially thank Speaker Cincinnatus for his lengthy and dedicated service to the region, and wish the Speaker a happy but brief retirement.
