WI: Marquette Law School: Thompson (R) leads Baldwin (D) by 6

I'm surprised by how many people here consider Thompson unbeatable. He hasn't held elective office for more than a decade, he is old, his fire in the belly is questionable and during his disastrous presidential campaign, as well as his current senatorial one, proved himself to be a gaffe machine.
Personally I will not be surprised if he doesn't make it out of the primary.
