As with Huntsman, the Republican field is far too crazy to include such an intelligent person.
I hope he does well if he becomes the Reform Party's nominee.

Having made the ballot in only one state in 2008, thus gaining a nationwide total of 481 votes, the Reform Party is certainly an electoral powerhouse worthy of Buddy Roemer.

Imagine if Roemer gains the nominations of both Americans Elect AND the Reform Party!  Nobody could withstand such a powerhouse!

Really?  On the closed campaign staff page, they say he is running as an independent for the Americans Elect nomination, and that the Reform Party bid was just a rumor.  There is supposed to be an official statement out tomorrow.

EDIT: This is correct.  Here is his statement.

I guess this means he won't be coming to speak to my College Republican group either. Sad

The Reform Party is only on the ballot in 4 states. That makes it totally inconsequential. By contrast, the Libertarian Party is on the ballot in all 50 states. If we seek a candidate in a credible third party, we must consider Gary Johnson who is running strong in the Libertarian Party.
