If the GOP wants to nominate the weaker of two candidates, be my guest.

I'm still hopeful there are some interesting 3rd party choices, but with the options limited to those two...Obama....he has the better singing voice.

This race is starting to look like 1996 all over again Romney is Bob Dole 2.0

Clinton started to pull away from Dole by this time in 96. So far, Obama looks like any bounce he's gotten in the polls from economic news is being dragged down by gas prices.

Obama's been slightly but significantly ahead of Romney for some time now.

Seeing as my general election vote won't make a difference anyway, maybe I'll just write in Jon Huntsman or Buddy Roemer.

Governor Mitt Romney/Governor Bob McDonnell                    275 EV  48.76% PV
President Barack Obama/Vice President Joe Biden                263 EV  48.59% PV

The election goes back and forth all night until Romney is declared the winner at 3:16 AM  the morning following election day.

President Obama gives a most gracious concession speech wishing Romney well, and pledges his complete cooperation during the transition.  President Elect Romney gives an equally gracious victory speech, calling on the nation to unite, and to work with him in addressing the important issues facing America.

I'd vote Virgil Goode or whoever the Constitution Party nominee is. Unless Romney picks someone REALLY good for VP (Jeb Bush)
