I've privately contacted moderators in the past. The extreme sarcasm or blatantly dismissive responses I would receive would stun you. They truly don't give a damn about complaints. They do as they please. Posting grievances publicly, however, at least slows their agenda. And these guys do have an agenda. There have been attempts to silence dissenters/supporters of certain people in the past and there is definitely one now.

Phil, when you PM the mods, you often do it in a very angry and non-cooperative manner.  When you PMed me about your TinyPic image being "hacked" (something that the computer savvy mods [as well as TinyPic themselves when I emailed them] agreed couldn't be done), you were angry, unwilling to listen, and borderline threatening.

If you're not going to at least listen and barge into a PM conversation with an angry attitude refusing to acknowledge that you could be wrong, it's only time before the mods become dismissive of your complaints.

And for the last time, there is no agenda.  If you have PROOF of an agenda, please post it.

Trolling is trolling.  I reported posts that attacked you.  I have nothing against your support for Santorum.  In the past month, I've reported 4 of your posts that dealt with Santorum.  I've also reported posts from Badger, Politco, Winfield, Snowstalker, and CaDan, and several more.  I'm not singling you out, and your claims that I am are 100% baseless.  Again, I ask if I can post your PM and screenshot of it.

I made a claim about private messages. I didn't say Inks was necessarily the one that was dismissive or extremely sarcastic. Not wanting my PM disclosed doesn't diminish my argument. After all, I didn't ask for the responses from the moderator(s) to be disclosed.

I don't need it disclosed to further the argument that many subscribe to: the moderators don't give a damn about the complaints of members. They think running their little boards makes them a somebody and the "power" goes to their heads. A very sad bunch.
