Wall Street liberal: Enthusiastic supporter of/donor to the Obama campaign, likely among the younger crowd on Wall Street, and very pro-free trade and generally hostile to regulation of Wall Street. Lives in Manhattan.

Gerald Ford Democrat: Probably a social liberal who liked his moderation and was scared off by Carter's evangelism. Probably most common in places like Connecticut and Illinois, northern places that he won.
Latte Conservative: Probably socially and environmentally moderate, grown up in upper-middle class housholds, goes to a good college, conservative mostly on economics, probably supported Huntsman.

Bill Clinton/Al Gore Republican: A Republican that is conservative on fiscal issues but is liberal on social issues. They were turned off by the 1992 RNC rhetoric from conservatives such as Pat Buchanan and Pat Robinson that led them to vote for Bill Clinton that year. They are most likely to live in states such as New Jersey and California rather then Nebraska and Kanas. They went back Republican in the 1994 races for moderate candidates such as Christine Todd Whitman(ok 1993), William Weld, George Pataki, and Pete Wilson. However, the steak of voting for Bill continues with the economy being a home run and Bob Dole being a uninspired candidate for the Republicans help Bill win the election of 1996. George W Bush was too much of a religious right candidate for this group to vote Republican during the presidential election, which meant most of Bill Clinton Republicans back Al Gore in 2000. This group is upper middle class mothers that tend to be conservative on fiscal and crime issues but are liberal on issues such as gay rights and abortion. AKA, they were the soccer moms.

I believe 100% of what you just describe about both groups.

During the camping of 08 I would say so. I tend to think of someone like HHH as the working class liberal.
