Seems fantastic compared to recent Green Presidential candidates.

As a long-time Green/SPÖ voter here in Austria, of course favorable.

And if I were living in Oregon and could vote this year, I'd probably vote for her if the last polls before the election show Obama up by 10 points or more. If I were living and voting in Colorado, I would vote for Obama though, because having him as US President is still much more preferable than having a backwards lunatic like Santorum or a flip-flopping locust-capitalist like Romney as POTUS.

Her crazy-ass conspiracy theorizing lightened up the gubernatorial debates for sure.

Democrats throw more elections to Republicans than the Greens do.

Just as Republicans are the biggest help to Democrats, Democrats are the biggest help to Republicans.

I don't think this is a fair assumption.

If I were a liberal, I could certainly understand the argument that you should not vote Green in a  swing state or competitive race.  But what about liberals in say California, who are angry at the Democrats and want to send a message of protest? It's the same reason I intend to vote either Libertarian or another third party in November.

I do think the Greens would be better served in working in the Democratic party, just as I think other third parties would have better luck working in the GOP. Imagine the 400,000 or so Greens all voting in the Democratic primary. It could have an impact, and certainly it would have a stronger impact then they do now. But they're still an effective protest option, and Stein seems to be reliably progressive, so more power to her. Of course, were I her I'd concentrate most of my efforts in safe Democratic states, as the wounds of Nader are still fresh.(Cobb in 04 tried this, not that it earned him much respect.)

As for the question, relative FF.

I would never vote for her, but she seems decent. FF for lack of a reason to be a HP.

It is ironic that Snowstalker became a militant Marxist who would praise the chaos created by a spoiler and that Jill Stein is actually a bigger threat this time around then last to the Democrats.
