It would appear that the Romney camp isn't feeling very good about Michigan.

I got the second Dem ballot at my precinct this morning. IIRC, there had been 12 ballots cast so far. Exciting stuff

I would not take that as any sort of evidence. just managing expectations. wouldn't say he was going to win unless he knew it for certain (a la Florida).

Low, but probably not for a primary election; my precinct is almost entirely on-campus.
No, of course not, I'm too Minnesotan to vote for anyone but Obama; doing otherwise would be a perversion of my civic duty! In any case, I got a Democratic ballot, which only had Obama and uncommitted. I would've needed to have requested a Republican ballot to vote for a Republican.

A reliable GOP source sends along the results of a poll conducted in Michigan last night showing Rick Santorum with a lead in the state among Republicans.
From the source:
Santorum- 33%
Romney- 28%
Gingrich- 12%
Paul- 6%

That is only 80% of the votes. Where is the other 20%?

Voted at about 1:30ish. Walked to the polls about a mile away. Beautiful day, sunny with just a few clouds low 40's, here in Metro Detroit. Only one person outside electioneering, I don't know for who though, I snuck in from the side. Inside no one was there, walked right up and signed in and voted, the other 3 precincts (all 4 precincts in my city are in the same building but different rooms) looked pretty empty. I was the 107th person to vote in my precinct.

He got a Democrat ballot, so he couldn't have.
The bad weather looks like it'll hold off until after the polls are closed, but if we have power outages with the ice storm, it could delay results.

If he wins by 5%, that won't be operation backdoor - that's enough to win without Democrats' votes.

So the reports are of excellent absentee return rates but poor election day turnout? Probably as good for Romney as one can expect the anecdotal evidence to be.

No. Unfortunately, this race is deficient in baldness. Perhaps the brokered convention nominee will be bald? Who could it be, though? Mitch Daniels is close enough, I suppose.
