Picked up some Cubaveras at Macy's today


along with some Ralph Lauren Black cologne... you ain't seen it all till you've seen Clarence roll into a bar with wing men readyt o rock and roll... we may be old but that gives us one thing besides wrinkles- experience

I think clothes are quite overrated as a device to pick up girls. I mean, I get laid. And I can barely manage to have matching socks.

Unlike certain people I perfectly understand that people are different and may make different lifestyle choices based on different preferences.

While I buy that clothes might matter more for older people, I still think it's probably overrated. And besides, most people here ARE young so the situation for young people would seem more relevant for the forum.

Fair enough.  I enjoy clothes purely for their own sake, not for 'getting dames' as clarence might term it, but it is true that as one gets essentially less attractive (as is nearly inevitable as one gets older) one probably does need to try a bit harder to look presentable.

Yes, but my point was also that girls do not always and only go for looks. They often get attracted by image which can be more than mere appearance.
