A new telephone survey of Likely Nebraska Voters finds state Attorney General Jon Bruning earning 55% support to Kerrey's 33%.

There are much more winnable seats for the DSCC to throw money at than this one.

Pretty much this, not that I'm complaining any. They'd be best advised to all but doff this race entirely and focus the money they'd be using on taking Massachusetts and Nevada and protecting McCaskill and Tester.

Actually, yes, this race is largely over.
Candidates who have near universal name recognition generally don't come back from 20-point deficits. Essentially, what we have here is a nasty case of John Breaux disease.
