Yeah, the news source sucks, but it'll have to do.

I'm guessing that the polling showing him getting blown out by both Bruning AND Stenberg (and also losing by 12 to the 3rd candidate whose name nobody knows) might have had something to do with it.

I must say, it's satisfying that I broke this both when it looked like he was re-joining the fray last week and now that he has decided that NYC is a better fit for him. :-)

That article has a comment dated four weeks ago as well, so I'm thinking apparently not. It appears that Newsmax is seriously reporting that Kerrey's dropping out by citing a month-old article about his pre-entrance waffling.

I haven't found anyone else reporting that Kerrey's dropping out.

Son of a...seriously, what is this guy's problem?! He could have made it competitive but no, he drops out like three weeks after jumping in. Not to mention his "maybe/no/maybe again/yes" thing.

I have not seen it elsewhere, either; sorry if I jumped the gun and led people astray (my eagerness to break the story got the best of me).  I'll keep me eyes open for anything to clarify.  Serves me right for linking to Newsmax.

AZ-Carmona-D,CT-Murphy-D,HI-Hirono-D,IN-Donnelly-D,MA-Warren-D,NV-Berkley-D,NM-Heinrich-D,ND-Heitkamp-D,VA-Kaine-D,and WI-Baldwin-D.
Democrats are favored to win in CT,HI,and NM.
Democrats are in a Tossup or slightly behind in MA,NV,VA,and WI.
AZ,IN,and ND are a result of Conservatives forgetting to vote.
