Makes sense. Paul should drop out and stop embarrassing himself.

Paul needs to end this before he's on record as losing every state in the union for a second time.

Paul's campaign and his movement are an irrelevant footnote.

The Paul campaign is about a message, unlike Santorum, Gingrich, or Romney. So before you all laugh at Paul, just remember this---he will end up changing the party for the better.

He won't drop out because he and his loyal Paultards actually believe they have a chance to get some magical influence in a brokered convention, and that their super-stealth delegates will wreak havoc in Tampa.

Paul has kinda blow it with his strategic cooperation with Mitt Romney. Such tactics might be business as usual in Washington, but, the folks whom write the big checks aren't doing so to conduct business as usual. They want a fundamental break from business as usual. Paul had better start acting in as principled a fashion as his rhetoric professes. Washington doesn't need two-faced "outsiders" to challenge the two-faced insiders.

My Paulite friends are back in the Obama camp after Paul's nonshowing so far in the primaries.

If he's only going for caucus states, there are four still out there:

Kansas this Saturday, though that's Santorum country.

Hawaii next Tuesday.  Long-shot, but worth a campaign stop. Wink

Missouri has its spread out from the 15th to the 24th.  A spread-out, confusing process is good for Paul (see Maine), and the fact that it already voted in February (adding to the confusion) can't hurt.  Still very much a long shot.

Nebraska has its in early June---there's a good possibility that this is after the media claims the race is wrapped up, and it's another extended, confusing process.

That said, if your best shot at winning states is to bet on the obscure contests, isn't there only so much a PAC can do?  Conventional advertising may draw more attention to the caucus itself (which is a bad thing for Paul) than get people to turn out for him.

If you look at the Ron Paul forums, they actually believe their BOUND stealth delegates could vote Paul on Round 1 and make Paul the winner. Of course, they care so so much about liberty and freedom to choose that they're willing to wave a middle finger to the will of 80% of Republican voters around the USA or so.

The fact is, while Paul has been failing ugly to get support, they still have a chance to cause some chaos in Tampa, if Romney continues faltering.

Yeah, I'm not that optimistic either - but hoping for VP or Treasury Secretary (LOL!) for RP under a Romney administration.  If Romney chooses to ignore Paul, or God-forbid Santorum or Gingrich get the nomination...then I'm voting Obama most likely (or Gary Johnson).

Most people didn't think he'd get as many delegates as he's received so far (myself included).  He'll end up doing a lot better than he did in 2008.
