I don't see why Mitt or Paul wouldn't win convincingly. Haven't heard anyone talk about Paul having a shot here though so I guess it's safe for Romney.

Mittens. This is Hawaii, where the only Republican of note is pro-choice, anti-death penalty, anti-voucher. Not exactly Santorum country.

Hawaii should be Mittens country.  Mittens will do well I would think both with the Asians (how many Asians are evangelicals?) and the upscale haoles - and there are a lot of upscale haoles in Hawaii who tend to be olds (Mittens does well with olds) to boot. The lagniappe is that Hawaii has a fair number of LDS adherents. The LDS missionaries have had pretty good success spreading the word in the Aloha State.

It should go for Romney. We can always hope for a surprise though.

I've been looking for them for years, and I suspect that Joe Republic knows the answer.  If only he'd been willing to post in this thread:

American Samoa also votes this day (9 Delegates).  High Mormon population as well.

Seriously, I expect these to be the only two pieces of good news Tuesday.

I hope Paul, but it'll likely go Romney.

Post super tuesday intrade seems to be taking a break. Paul is the only one listed there and is at 10%, but they also seem to think Newt is 3rd favourite in AL and 2nd in MS.

Even the Paultards aren't bothering to hype up his chances here? It'd certainly be amusing if he ended up actually winning this one.

Precinct caucus had no presidential preference poll. McCain won the state convention.

It would just be another fracas like Maine.  I'm just hoping for the Romney/Paul ticket now, and glad the issues are changing to what RP has been talking about.

Olds+Asians+military presence=Mittens.

Paul couldn't win Alaska. How does he win in a state which should be terrible for him?

From what I've heard, he's raised more money there than anybody else, but the same was the case in Alaska, and Alaska was a LOT more friendly ideologically, so I don't think it'll be Paul in Hawaii.
