Senator Defarge has just informed me he will not run for re-election. So, I'm announcing my candidacy for Senator. If I win, I promise to serve you as honestly, and as truthfully as I can. Thank you.

You would be a good Senator, but I'm not endorsing anyone till I see the other candidates.

I don't seem to remember you being terribly active in these parts, though clearly you've accumulated a number of posts. Could you give  us (or perhaps just me) a brief outline of your ideological position.

Here's a question off the top of my head:

Why'd you decide to run for Senator all of a sudden?

Ok, two questions that deserve honest answers. First Peter Bell's question.

You're right, I haven't been terribly active in this area. When I first joined the forum some months ago, I was just concerned about voicing my opinion in the other areas of the forum, and just didn't really get into the Public service aspect of this forum until my return after about a month's time where I had no computer available to me. Now, my ideaology is basically your moderate-to-liberal style of thinking. I will post a full Position outline ASAP.

Now, KEmperor's question.

It was just a sudden urge to get involved in the public service of Atlasia. I've been following this area since my return from my hiatus, and I just felt the urge to run, to serve the district to the best of my ability.

Lawrence, have you seen the recent approval ratings of the man who decided to drop out?

I haven't, but, I believe they were low.

I however, am back for good. I have access to a computer throught most of the day now, unlike before. Also, regarding Defarge, remember, I am not him. I promise to be able to work to find solution and not gridlock.
