He was a pretty sucky right-wing governor, but his campaign has, imo, hit on all the right themes, especially corporate control of politics. Sad to see him not go further, but again, the day the Rethuglicans will nominate someone half-decent is the day on which pigs will fly.

I like Buddy Roemer.

I know he lost an election to Edwin Edwards and David Duke (Two of the scummiest people in politics) but come on, whatever he did as Governor, he couldn't have been as terrible as those two. To me, he actually says quite a bit of stuff that I can look at and say "Well, I disagree with a lot, but I really like some of it", especially his stance on money in politics.

Meh, Rand is still by far the worst in my book.

It seems necessary to put in a mention for Susan Collins here, though her case is due to an obvious speech impediment.

All the ones posted are pretty bad, sure (although Susan Collins isn't, really - you can tell she has a speech impediment and isn't just slow) but let's just remind each other of how awful Rand Paul is at speaking in public -

Are you kidding? Buddy Roemer is a great speaker... About campaign finance reform, and nothing else. If I could give him one dictatorial power, it'd be over campaign finance.
