According to Politico's calendar, Santorum's Election night party is in Louisiana. A sign that he isn't expecting any wins tomorrow night?

It doesn't really matter at this point anyways, this has been over since Michigan. The best you can hope for is a brokered convention, and even then Santorum will not be the nominee.

Sorry, Phil.

Why LA? If they are going to pick a future contest state, then isn't IL the better choice as it is before LA?

Better yet, why not Missouri? That's this weekend and Rick should do well there. I guess they just want to at least keep it in the Deep South for the night.

I would think one would want to party in New Orleans, being Catholic.

But that would be just me?

The New Orleans partying doesn't suit a Catholic like Rick. Wink

Wait a moment- didn't Missouri go weeks ago? I thought it did and Santorum swept it...

That was the primary, in which no delegates were at stake.  The upcoming caucus is the one that matters.

Politico has Romney doing a fundraiser tomorrow night at the Waldorf in NYC. While I wouldn't doubt the tone deaf candidate and campaign arranging that on the night of the AL and MS primaries, I think Politico probably made an error.

To be fair, though, no time is specified. I hope it's in the morning or afternoon though. I'm sure Deep South voters would Purple heart that visual.

You can't be serious. New Orleans: home of some...eh...risqué Mardi Gras festivities. Santorum is known as a more reserved type. Tongue

And Phil accuses me of spamming?

And Phil says I put three threads about Romney on the board in one day so I should surely be banned?

Hypocrisy runs wild in PA I see.

First of all, Winfield, you post stories that are days old and are only posting them to get your little campaign speech in for the robot you're supporting for President. Secondly, this can't be classified as spam at all. It's a topic assessing what a campaign might be doing going into the final hours. And, unlike you, I started a topic that highlights a negative (potentially losing comfortably) about my candidate. Thirdly, I don't ever recall saying you should be banned.

If there is any justice in the world, Santorum's pre-primary campaigning in Louisiana will coincide with an LGBT pride convention, a medical conference for abortion doctors, and a major Muslim holiday.

If Winfield continues to make new topics centered around a talking point each day, he seriously must be banned. I know he's in panic mode now because Romney is crashing and burning but he shouldn't be getting hysteric on us.

Phil, are you sure you didn't mean to use the word "wake" instead of "party"?

For Tuesday, I think "wake" is much more accurate.
