I find all of his posts in these "preceding poster" threads quite odd, considering he's rather new with only 100 posts.

French socialist which such a good grasp of English I thought he was an American in France when I first joined.  He knows what he believes and is willing to defend those beliefs, but at the same time is respectful to people with differing views.

A teenager from the PN-NJ area in his "wear black and listen to musicians who wear black" stage.  A friendly forum libertarian whose views aren't really as radical as his PM score portrays them to be.

World-wise Irish poster.  An articulate writer and someone who I consider an "internet friend."

A young, rather idealistic far leftist (can't remember if he calls himself a Social Democrat or a Democratic Socialist, but then I don't get the feeling he really knows himself).  He desperately needs more historical grounding; his defense of Soviet Russia was, to put it nicely, lacking.

I think I might have explicitly and seriously defended Soviet Russia only once or twice. That doesn't really define me.

Well I was confined to two sentences and that was the best anecdote I could think of.  Our discussions on the anarcho-syndicalist movement and modern Greece reinforced those conclusions for me.

This isn't to diss you, by the way, I'm just calling it as I see it.
