So yeah.  I know the basics, but there's no study guide or anything, and I just need to brush up.  Any key details would really help.  I have an 89 in the class and this test will help me a lot.

I hated learning about that, and when I looked over wikipedia to research for my tl, I remembered why. My history book of course was much more straightforward than wikipedia. Keeping track of how many different forms of government they went through and all the different stages leading up to Napoleon is nuts. Godspeed, fellow victim of confusing history.

Thanks.  Basically I think she's gonna be fair and half of it will be "duh, ok, who was being oppressed?  Why were they pissed?  Name the two classes," etc.  Did the burgiousie include the middle class?

Just think "What would someone do if they were dedicated to rationalism to an irrational degree?" and add some extreme vindictiveness into the mix. That's pretty much what they tried.

...Don't you have a textbook or something?

What sort of stuff do you want from us?  Real in-depth analysis?  A bare-bones timeline to memorize?

I'm not about to type a summary of the French Revolution.

It's...a bit ridiculous, but enjoy.

Thanks, this helped.  I was freaking out, but I feel like I got an A on the test.  It was basic stuff.  The only two that stumped me was "which two movements grew out of the French Revolution" (the only plausible answers were "democracy and nationalism" or "democracy and socialism", but I thought it was all three, so I picked the former and wrote a note.)  The other was "What is Versailles, and what is there?" the only plausible multiple choice options were "a city outside Paris, and a center for clergy" and "a city outside of Paris, and a palace.".  However, the latter doesn't make sense because according to my thorough (Wink) Wikipedia sweep, the royalty was relocated after 1789 because of the Revolution.   Thus, I'm almost certain I got it wrong (I picked the former option) but that's alright; it was a thirty question test.  In English.  Which, come to think of it, really doesn't make sense, even of we are reading "Tale of Two Cities.". Anyways, thanks for your help guys.  By the way, no textbook, because it's English.  Stupid assistant teacher writing the curriculum....

The Palace of Versailles is still there, even if every royal after Louis XVI lived in Tulleries Palace in Paris.

The correct-est answer to "What is in Versailles" would be "obnoxious uber-wealthy old people".
