If the Democratic primary for Congress were held today, and the choices were Ilya Sheyman, Brad Schneider, John Tree, and Vivek Bavda, for whom would you vote?
Ilya Sheyman ............................................. 45%
Brad Schneider .......................................... 27%
John Tree...................................................... 7%
Vivek Bavda.................................................. 4%
Not sure ..................................................... 16%
Congrats to Bob Dold!

PPP, admirably, posts a public analysis of their possible mistakes:

Why's that?
Because Sheyman was too liberal for the district.

The fun part is that the longshottiest of the Dem target districts, IL-13, is the only one where the Occupy type won the primary. (Barely so, by less than PPP predicted in the sister poll to this one. But still.)

Elections in the USA are "rigged". It happens in both parties. Nobody voted for Joey Libermann in Connecticut but he WON, and the media didnt say boo. Same thing with Rahm Emanuel in Chicago, the guy had NO constituency but he....WON?
George W Bush?
Or how about Nobody Sanotorum? Who's voting for him?? Romney??? The guy is spending MILLIONS to tie....Sanotorum?
Ron Paul is the only guy with real support and he hasnt won a single race??? Yeah right!!
I am sorry for Sheymans loss. We certainly need more LEFT leaning progressives if we are to save America.
