What borders have you been to?

An interesting topic I was just discussing with my brother. What country borders have you come within 10 miles of, on land? (Crossing it counts, obviously). It doesn't count if you're on a plane. To my surprise, I've only actually been to three such boundaries:
US-Canada
France-Netherlands (on St. Martin)
Costa Rica-Nicaragua
What about you?

I've been to the U.S.-Canada border at both the International Peace Gardens in North Dakota and at Niagara Falls.
But the most interesting border I've been to was in Basel, Switzerland. I have a picture I took of it hanging on my apartment wall. It's a misty January day, I'm standing in the back of the Erasmus Church, that is, standing in Switzerland, looking out over the Rhine River, and on the left edge of the Rhine was France, and on the right edge was Germany. I really love that spot, even though I was only there once.

Just the US-Canadian and US-Mexican borders...only crossed the Canadian one (and that was many many moons ago).

Their function is to hang around and be constantly useful as a goad. The ultimate aim is not such humane small potatoes as repatriating refugees.

Crossed:
US-Canada (in Quebec, going into NY and VT and vice-versa; in Ontario, going into NY and vice-versa)
Germany-France (Saarland into Lorraine? and vice-versa)
Germany-Austria (Bavaria going into Tyrol and Salzburg and vice-versa)
France-Italy (PACA-Liguria)
France-Monaco
Saudi Arabia-Bahrain (technically, a bridge)
Saudi Arabia-Qatar
Cyprus-UK (Akrotiri)
Came close to:
UAE-Oman
Cyprus-TRNC (the Green Line in Nicosia and Mt. Olympus in the Troodos Mountains)
Jordan-Israel
If you really wanted to, I guess you could count "crossing" into an embassy as crossing a border, in which case I would have crossed into UK territory (in Riyadh).

Canada - USA, many times (crossed at Ft Erie/Buffalo, Ivy Lea bridge, QC-VT and ME-NB). I have been within 10 miles of the border in Sault Ste. Marie as well, and I crossed through US waters on the Vancouver-Victoria ferry.
Also, I
live
within 10 miles of the Canada-Quebec border

Canada and Quebec are synonyms. You live within ten miles of the Upper Canada - Canada border.

I think I crossed Germany/Luxembourg by foot though.
