Thought we could use a GOP version.

Discuss.

I'd Seriously Consider:
1. Jeb Bush
2. Nikki Haley
3. Paul Ryan
4. Marco Rubio
5. Bob McDonnell
6. Bobby Jindal
7. Allen West
8. Chris Christie
9. Mike Pence
10. Susanna Martinez
11. John Thune
12. Scott Walker
13. Scott Brown
14. Rick Perry

I would not consider:
1. Mitch Daniels
2. Rand Paul
3. Jon Huntsman Jr.

These are in order, so I voted Jeb Bush.

Provided she doesn't screw up as a governor I would go with Martinez. Apart from the obvious fact that she helps with two groups where Republicans aren't exactly doing that well at the moment, shes got a number of qualities: Youth, Conservative views, intelligence, emphaty, energy and charisma. And in 2016 she will also have the necessary experience.

1.) Martinez-Latina, leader, and a common sense conservative. Great appeal to Hispanics, indie voters, and some Dems.
2.) McDonnell-Governor and fiscal conservative.
3.) Thune-a common sense conservative, knows about small business.
4.) Christie-his rhetoric turns me off although I like the job he is doing. A true reformer.
5.) Jindal-Don't know much of what he is doing in Louisiana though but he did get re-elected with a majority of the vote in a jungle primary. He does have a very nice political resume.

I would still today vote for West---he is my "favorite son" even though he frequently annoys and embarrasses this district with his radical Israeli supremacist views and vile attacks on all whom he deems as "libruls" or "commies", or even worse, "mooslims who hatez America and Israel".

I'd like West and see him as a viable Presidential candidate if he had made his issues something like "saving small business", or better, "I'm a former soldier and here's how we should reform the military for this day and age", instead of "CAIR is corrupting our youth! Them, Keith Ellison, and the 78-81 commies will lead to the downfall of America!"
