Opposes free trade, promotion of 'individual mandate' (at this point in time, at least), public union collective bargaining (especially for benifits), cuts/changes to Social Security and Medicare, and promotes 'Cap and Trade'.

Note that my primary concern regarding Presidential and Senate candidates is that they appoint Originalists to the Supreme Court.

Edit: I actually got 'individual mandate' mixed up with 'public option'; I don't support individual mandates, period.

Who are you kidding? They oppose poor people getting healthcare, gays getting equal legal rights, and having to pay for their endless crusades. The rest is window dressing.

On civil liberties and foreign policy issues listed, I actually agree with the positions that Republicans would find unacceptable. (Big surprise.)

I tried to vote in both, but this list is just way too cringeworthy to be on the other side of. I can't believe these are things Republicans find objectionable. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I thought that you would take positions opposite of those that are libertarian?

Social conservatives support expanding government on all but one issue, typically- even though the thinking behind gun control opposition is totally contrary to how socons generally think.
