New Poll: Virginia Senator by Rasmussen on 2012-03-20

Summary: D: 44%, R: 46%, U: 7%

Poll Source URL: Full Poll Details

*Please note that we split the survey to rotate the order of the candidates, so while half will hear the Republican first, the other half hears the Democrat mentioned first.

1* In the 2012 Election for the U.S. Senate, suppose you had a choice between Republican George Allen and Democrat Tim Kaine.  If the election were held today, would you vote for Republican George Allen or Democrat Tim Kaine?

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey finds Allen drawing 46% of the vote to Kaine’s 44%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and seven percent (7%) are undecided.

Yes he is.  He's Kay Bailey Hutchison pro-choice, but he's pro-choice.

(Also, issues2000?  Really?  Just on that page alone they think that being in favor of foreign aid to Israel makes one strongly against the Iraq and Afghanistan wars).

On what planet can George Allen be considered "pro-choice"?

No, he isn't, nothing about his record supports that. Where are your sources?

Still, even if Allen is pro-choice, I don't see him getting more crossover support than Kaine.

He's probably referring to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Allen_(U.S._politician)#Ownership_of_Barr_Labs_stock

Bit of a stretch to call that "pro-choice".
