Pennsylvania Republicans are going for favorite son Rick Santorum big time, giving the former U.S. Senator a 36 - 22 percent lead over former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in the Keystone State's presidential primary, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Texas U.S. Rep. Ron Paul has 12 percent, with 8 percent for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

In a head-to-head matchup, Santorum tops Romney 52 - 32 percent among Republican voters, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds.

Like the GE poll, this is basically the same result like PPP - just that PPP pushed the leaners more.

I like how three of four of the candidates have deep ties to this state, but the one that doesn't ends up in second place.

Santorum is humiliated by the Pennsylvania electorate who deliver him a crushing defeat for reelection,  then Santorum shows his contempt for Pennsylvanians by moving to Virginia, and yet Pennsylvania Republicans do not have the common sense to see through this political prima donna.

Well Pennsylvania's a closed primary so all the Democrats and independents that crushed him that time won't be able to vote in this one.
