I know this "what if Kerry" stuff is getting played out but, I cant get over the fact he selected Edwards as his VP.  He could have went with Wes Clark, Joe Lieberman, Howard Dean.  Did he honestly think Edwards was going to bring the south with him?  Did he think Edward's good looks was going to swing the election?

Anyways, lets assume he would have selected Bob Graham as his VP.  Would Graham have been able to deliver Florida or any other state?

I think Kerry would have just barely carried Florida, with a margin of around 0.2 percent.

Regardless, Edwards as VP was probably the biggest mistake that Kerry made.
