Yes, because they'd attack ad hominem anyone who would disagree.

King's right.  LaRouchites are vicious when you contradict them.

This site's a bit slow when it comes to banning trolls, but they'd get around to it, yeah.

I met a couple of them in Melbourne's western suburbs a few years back. I took their pamphlets for exactly that reason. Their party over here is the CEC - Citizen's Electoral Council, or whatever it stands for...

I wish Cheminade would register. Grin

There were La Rouchites handing out at the train station in the city this morning. They've been there every Wednesday for the past month or so, but previously with a petition against a US war with Iran (because I'm sure President Obama will take seriously a petition of Australians who can't vote in November) but I avoided interacting with them because I thought they were just from the Socialist Worker or one of those groups and therefore rather boring. I took their pamphlet this morning, however, because the Melbourne comedy festival is starting up and I could do with a good chuckle to get me ready... This one seems to imply that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II is a drug dealer. Will post more once I've had a chance to read it.

Well, we all know Lizzie likes a pipe of opium once in a while, so no surprises there.

They're also in front of the Berlin Central Station on every day of the week (don't these people have jobs?), warning us how Obama is planning to launch World War III during the course of this year and calling for his impeachment for this very reason (yeah, they're trying to raise support for the impeachment of Barack Obama among German voters).

Another of their slogans is arguing that the EU is less democratic than the Soviet Union because of the Euro and the Greece bailouts.

The only ones I ever bothered to talk to were actually pretty patient and nice, although one of them kept embarrassing herself by saying dumb things, to the irritation of the other.  I just engaged them because I was curious where they come from...like, are they college students, robots, what?  I've never met one anyplace other than behind a table outside a post office or grocery store.

The ones I met were really weird, but also impossible to argue with.  LaRouche followers know their s**t about their belief system due to the indoctrination, and they are pedantic as hell.

This obsession about the British Crown is one of the weirdest conspiracy theories I know.
