It would have been hilarious if she got indicted before her Lt Governor got into trouble so that South Carolina could have had THREE scandal ridden Republican governors in a short period of time. Of course the idiotic voters would still blindly vote for whatever scumbag the Republican party nominated, regardless.

Haley, like with Sanford before her, is standing in the way of a large number for Democrat turned Republican porkers, who would probably be doing far worse, if given a free hand. They have much incentive to try and tarnish her and make her look hypocritical. I wonder if they were behind this false story.

It's turned out to be such a laughable false story that I can't help but wonder if someone in Haley's circle planted it so that she could play the victim card again. I'd hope no one in politics would be stupid enough to think that something so flimsy as this turned out to be would actually be damaging. On the other hand, the SCDP does not always do smart things.  Haley has some real but minor problems with an ethics investigation.  This will be a nice distraction from it and let her charge that it is just as baseless.
