Holy crap.

We've seem from the Zimmerman case that this could make him sympathetic to a lot of people... He will be seen as the true victim if anyone calls him out on it. It's too late to save his campaign but it may reverse Romney's momentum if Dems pick up on this and call out Santirum.

Romney has made some memorable gaffes during this campaign, however, nothing like this remark by Santorum.

Republicans, even conservative Republicans, even conservative evangelical Republicans, do you really want a candidate who would refer to the President of the United States in this manner?

Santorum has moved from a being a candidate expessing some legitimate views, to  being a nuisance, to now becoming an absolute embarassment, to the party, and I hate to say it, to the nation.

He has to step aside.
