Fun fact: I know someone who got mugged & stabbed on April Fool's Day, which meant that it took a while before anyone realised it wasn't a joke in poor taste. *facepalm*

I usually like YouTube's neat technological "prank," although this year, it was lame.  Google's was pretty cool.

The typical, "We're engaged/pregnant/broken up" Facebook statuses are annoying, but for  people who can pull off a truly good prank, kudos to them.

I got into work today and was told that a quarter of the scheduled employees had either called out or just not shown up.  I immediately called it out as a stupid April Fools joke.  Sadly, it wasn't.

Agree with the consensus here.  It's a day for unfunny people to lie and then say "haha, you believed my lie!".  I don't understand why anyone over the age of 10 participates.
