Insert usual remark about the lack of female posters somewhere in this post. Perhaps accompanied by Roll Eyes, if you like.

Jebs granddad

From wikipedia:
Prescott Sheldon Bush (May 15, 1895 – October 8, 1972) was a Wall Street executive banker and a United States Senator, representing Connecticut from 1952 until January 1963. He was the father of George H. W. Bush (41st President of the United States) and the grandfather of George W. Bush (43rd President of the United States) and Jeb Bush (43rd Governor of Florida).

Prescott Bush Jr. 1982 candidate for Senate against Lowell Weicker. Withdrew before the primary as a show of party unity.

GW Bush got pretty damn far considering his lack of a functional brain. Family connections and (as ever in acceding to the highest echelons of all) just plain chance helped, of course, but that requires huge amounts of political talent.

I forgot about Wisconsingurl. So I guess I am wrong. Unless the no was directed at my entirely inappropriate joke. For that, I apologize.

They're all horrible, so I voted the last option.

Prescott's usually considered the least bad, isn't he?  Or am I thinking of Jeb?

The fact that someone who got busted illegally trading vital military supplies with Nazi Germany after Pearl Harbor could be considered the least bad member of their family really says something about how ridiculously bad their family is.

I don't know if they're all ''equally horrible'' but they're certainly all bad enough that proclaiming any one of them to be the best (even by default) just seems wrong on some level.

It is interesting that all these stories don't mention Averill Harriman.

My favorite is 41....he's a good man.

The most skilled politician is clearly 43.  8 years in the White House is as skilled as it gets.

41. 43 is a failure, Prescott's evil, and Jeb's just ok.

The question was talented as a politician.  Doesn't getting elected twice count for political talent?

Jeb, he was the only one during the recount that didn't appear partisan and he also has a mixed marriage in marriage to a latino woman.
