Polls in MD and DC seem to close at 2am, while WI seems to close at 3am.

CNN will likely start broadcasting at 2am.

This will help Romney as the core population is urban or suburban unless of course a good segment of those 35% of voters are dems that decide to vote in the GOP primary for Santorum in an Operation Hilarity type move as PPP Polling seems to think will happen. I have my doubts about that, but we will know from the exit polling that comes out after 5PM.

The reason turnout is expected to be so high is there are important things on the ballot in WI not just the primary and voters are very politically energized by the fight over the recall election.

The officials are not projecting 35% of registered voters, but of the VAP (voting age-population), which is even more:

I think a good chunk of this high turnout comes from voters in the DEM primary too, even though Obama is unopposed. But we have seen in Ohio that voters come out for him no matter what, because of the union stuff in the previous year.

I wouldn't be surprised if 500.000 to 700.000 would vote in the DEM primary today.

How long could it possibly take in DC to count these 17 or so votes in the GOP primary ?

If the WI exit is true, then PPP has nailed WI.

PPP probably also nails MD.

What a short primary night.

Probably watch Santorum and Romney's speech, then go to bed again.

What's up with Waukesha again ?

Didn't this county already create problems in that Supreme Court race ?

Someone should please fire all the election officials in Waukesha and replace them with someone else. They are incompetent (or fraudsters).
