The Indians and Blue Jays are locked in the longest opening day game by innings in Opening Day history.

loldarvish. The only reason he got a win today was because he was facing the putrid Mariners with a AAA starter that Texas ate for lunch.

Is it premature to declare Mike Trout the best player ever?

Nope. He's just that amazing. Wink He's been incredibly clutch so far too.

I think Trumbo is going to surprise some people tonight. He has amazing raw power; he quite nearly hit it completely out of Safeco Field in BP a couple times. I wouldn't be surprised if he hits several 500+ feet.

Trumbo hit one projected at 490 feet. Not quite 500, I guess. Tongue

Anyway, it was a decent derby. Major LOL at Cano and the fans; that was by far the best part of the night. Trumbo did pretty well; I hope he's back in the Derby before long. Congrats to Fielder.

I'm kidding, of course. It was certainly the best All-Star Game ever.

It warmed my heart to see Verlander get squashed. I can't stand that guy. Also, pretty much every Texas player failing miserably, especially Harrison, was nice too.
