Well, as bullying is often caused by the victim not fitting the things the society expects it to be, I'm not sure than social conservatism and anti-bullying is compatible.

^This comment is a perfect example of bullying people in the minority, in this case, conservatives on this site. What a close-minded thing to say. I expected better of you.

One of the biggest HPs and scumbags ever.  I'm ashamed that he was a Republican.

Only in this place would people bring up making fun of other people's political views on the internet as a relevant counter to an argument about bullying in schools Roll Eyes

I think I expect humanity to be obsessed with pop culture bullsh!t rather than weird nerdish internet bullsh!t, although I guess those two aren't mutually exclusive.

If this were a real life matchup, it'd be one of the worst ever. Big city technocratic millionaire (billionaire?) mayor who's all hyped up on gun control and regulating our soft drinks. Meanwhile you have a racist Ivy League professor. Nobody wins!

Nah, the majority of the mod team have made it clear that they are far too lily-livered in dealing with habitually disruptive posters.  It's a forum tradition, after all.

I don't particularly mind continuing my own 'delete-on-sight' policy for his posts on my boards.  I've been doing it since about April, and nobody seems to mind.

If I don't see Krazen's posts and don't know of your 'delete-on-sight' policy, how am I going to know enough to mind?  Now that I know, I object to you summarily deleting posts of a poster in good standing.  Just because you disagree with Krazen politically doesn't mean his posts don't have value.   Whose posts will you summarily delete next?  Mine?  I don't agree with you on most issues, either.

It's sad that posting views that challenge the overwhelmingly liberal orthodoxy here is seen by some as trolling - and that is one of the reasons why I see myself posting less and less.

The trolling rap thing does suck, but just ignore it is my best advice. There is this assumption out there, that some ideas just seem so awful in the mind of some posters, that it just has to be performance art, rather than genuinely held beliefs. In some ways, I find that attitude rather arrogant. And yes, I find some of the content of some left wing posters so off the wall, that I wonder if it is just that we live on two different planets, or it's trolling. Does it really matter to me which it is? No. It is all part of the back and forth in the public square. And learning to deal with it intelligently, is part of growing up.

Plus it's far more entertaining to see someone's ideas ripped to shreds politely than to just ignore them. I may find many of the conservatives' views here perplexing and awful, but if they weren't here this place would become intolerable very quickly. Rock on, blue and yellow avatars.

Judging by the internet, Pornography. Lots and Lots of Pornography. Why do you ask?

In fact they want sex with attractive well shaped healthy young women of late teens to very early twenties in age.  But, alas, the society is a sick and malformed one so this is unavailable to most.  Thus, they want the only substitute: pornography.

Well, not true.  I have no attraction to well shaped healthy young women of late teens to very early twenties.  There are, however, plenty of well shaped healthy young men of late teens to very early twenties (and beyond).

But I think i get opebo's point.

Gay dudes definitely watch porn as much as straight dudes do despite having a much easier time getting laid in general. I think that's a big hole (lol) in this theory.

The key to successful phone sex is to just let it happen with scenarios and then act like it's happening. Movies do a very bad job at showing this as both parties normally give the scenario instead of letting it happen. You can't force phone sex. I've been doing phone sex for years now and believe I carry some credibility in this. When I worked in an office calling people who wanted to go to school online, I had a potential student on the phone. After talking to her for a little bit I asked what she did for a living and she told me she was a phone actress. I never knew the technical term until then. She embarrassingly laughed and told me what she does. Ironically she wanted to go to school for proctology.

Again, Catholicism has never been a sola fides faith.  Francis' answer of "Do good things anyway, there's benefits for people of all faiths" is a useful one as far as it goes, but the element of whether or not non-Catholics will be saved is based on the point of doctrine that God is, well, God and will be letting whomever He wants into Heaven and it's not the Pope's job to determine whether someone's condemned or saved.  The Church is still the easiest, best way to get into Heaven, but a good person who follows his moral compass as best he can who lived before Jesus or in a society without Christian presence can still save himself (in contrast to Protestant doctrine of total depravity and the inherent damned nature of non-Christian life).  Basically, there's nothing new here, just a bunch of people that don't know anything about Catholicism freaking out because it doesn't have the same "faith alone saves" rules as Protestantism.

Like many places on the internet I think men here confuse "women don't want to have sex with me" with "women don't want to have sex".

No, their biggest advantage is demographical.

Not a very important point, since it's true for an overwhelming majority of male population. Unfortunately most of the working-class males in US are too dumb to emigrate to fix the problem for themselves and their bros at home.

You are aware of the definition of "slut", I presume?

No, that's a whore. A slut is a woman who won't have sex with you in exchange for basic social interaction and awkward attempts at chivalry.
