It would have been better had he started in the primaries, and had Ted Kennedy win the election and later, the cold war.  But it is very funny.

Walter Mondale won every state but Utah in a presidential election.  I think there are bigger impossibilities to worry about.

This timeline is intended to be part satire, part nonpartisan humor, and part complete impossibility purely for comic relief.  If you're looking for a realistic, well thought-out timeline, this is not it.
