So, here's what I was thinking: the first day goes as normal; we sign in, allow people their last chance to declare for leadership positions, consider amendments to the platform/bylaws, and reserve the second day for speeches.  Then starting on the third day, we all "caucus" behind the ticket we want to endorse for president and elect new leaders.  If a ticket doesn't attain a majority or meet the quota, that ticket is eliminated, and we extend the convention period (three days max) until a ticket has a majority.  The winner of the caucus gets the Liberal Party's formal endorsement.

So to any candidates reading this, you might want to take advantage of the opportunity to speak to the convention on Tuesday.  Everyone's invited to advocate.

It makes things a little more complicated, but I think it'd be fun.  I kinda want to end my chairmanship here with a bang. Tongue
