a lot of the questions didn't have any answer that I liked. For example, calling God either corporeal or incorporeal is problematic in Christianity.

Yeah, I think that was thrown in though just to distinguish from Mormons who clearly believe in God being corporeal, Jehovah's Witnesses too I think.

One answer to a question I thought was pretty good: "Wrongdoing occurs because God gave us free will plus a weak side, or a drive to satisfy personal needs, which sometimes results in wrongful choices."

I also liked that (and chose it).

I'd be too embarrassed to post results with that.

I find it interesting that an Evangelical Christianity option isn't on here (unless it's under "Mainline - Conservative Christian Protestants," which would be semantically incorrect).

Yeah that really bugged me and is stupid wording. They obviously were trying to avoid oversimplifying ala mainline = liberal, evangelical = conservative, but simplified just as much in an even stupider way.

Your Result: Methodist

As a Methodist, your views can be traced back to John Wesley and his revival movement within the Church of England. Methodist beliefs are broadly speaking similar to those of the mainstream reformed churches, however Methodists have a tradition of enjoying more better relations with episcopalian churces. After all, John Wesley himself remained a committed Anglican clergyman. Methodists mainly embrace the writing of Arminius, believing that while faith is central to salvation, that salvation can be lost through rejecting God. One of the biggest theological differences between Methodists and other reformed faiths is the Methodist belief in free will, and that men choose to sin, rather than being born as its slaves.

2. Baptist
3. Puritan
4. Pentecostal
5. Calvinist
6. Lutheran
7. Episcopalian
8. Catholic
9. Restorationist

Hey, me and MaxQue got the same list for denomination preferences! Exact same answers?

(Like all religion tests though, there were several questions where I didn't like any of the answers.)
