http://2012.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/04/gop-congressman-we-cant-impeach-obama-because-we-dont-have-the-votes-yet.php

Why hasnít Congress impeached President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder? Rep. Todd Akin says itís simply a lack of votes. But he says that may change eventually.

ďThatís a good question,Ē Akin told a constituent on Tuesday who asked just that. ďI canít speak for the other 400 and some congressmen, but I believe when they take a look at impeachment the question is do you have the votes to do it and, if you do it, it goes to the Senate, whatís going to happen with Harry Reid?Ē

...

He concluded the quicker way to remove Obama from office would be to wait for the election to run its course.
ďHe is a complete menace to our civilization,Ē he said. ďThe question is whatís the best way to get rid of him, I think probably at the ballot box next election, we need to get that done.Ē

To be fair, Obama may well be a menace to Todd Akin's civilization.

Well, Clinton's impeachment was useful for one thing. That the Democrats had modest gains in 1998 caught everyone off guard. Sentor D'Amato got stuck in an elevator on the way to his victory party. A very fitting end to Senator pothole.

In other words, any chance that Obama was going to be impeached has died.

Impeached for what?  Being born in Kenya?

So you mean if we force the gay to be exposed to the straight, we are treating the gay indecently?  Because you didn't specify which direction the hate was supposed to go there, Black Beans.

He may be getting desperate. Steelman probably has the advantage with the Tea Party and in the vast rural areas, while that Businessman named Brunner is probably siphoning off votes from Akin, more so then Steelman. Steelman is last in fundraising but she has name id from her previous run for Governor and as being State Treasurer so that evens it out I think.

The remark is so offensive and reckless, that I would never vote for the man. It outrageous really.  Is Akin typically like this?  If so, how has he survived?

When your closest House election was when a Democrat came with 13% of you and your district is PVI R+9...
