I like/liked Teddy, Libby, Straha (before my time but know him from elsewhere), Hamilton (mostly because Dallasfan likes him), and Sven.  I guess if I had to choose only one then Sven - a great guy and a good friend.  Wonder what he's off to now...

EDIT:  Contrary to popular belief, Straha was never banned, he just accidentally scrambled his password.  His sock was banned for some reason though...

I'd like to have all of them unbanned, because I actually liked a lot of the people on that list, but I'm pretty sure most of these people are still lurkers.

There are a lot of posters who no longer post here that I wish would come back, even if it was only for a while. Han, for one, as well as Nixon in '80, Dan the Roman, JSojourner, and Vepres. (Well, technically, Dan the Roman is active, just not frequently. It's a shame, because he's a great poster).

Hey, now that you mention it, whatever happened to DC_United?

I miss having Libertas around to argue with.  Despite having a very narrow world view and a "repeat until it's true" debate style, he was a pretty nice guy - having talked to him off of this forum a time or two.
