1976: ford and rocky step aside. richardson wins a bitter primary fight against reagan. richardson further pisses off the right by naming bush as vp.

idaho senator defeats jimmy carter in the primary then selects him as his running mate.

does the right rally behind richardson? can church capture the south with carter on the ticket against two ivy leaguers?
