The list is a bit loaded in one direction.
I put spaces where I suspect the break points are . left, center and right. I'm not sure about Tweed for some reason.

it is intentionally loaded in one direction. nearly all neoliberal-era right-wing ideology is banal and uniformly uninteresting, reducible down to at most three or four simple points.

For European standards, certainly.
For American standards, nah. It's just that there are only two mainstream republicans (you and Spade) so it doesn't take much to be ranked last.

There is no such thing as politically "right". There is only "left", "wrong", or "both".
And the first is seldomly achieved by me and exceedingly rarely by anybody else.

privatize profit, socialize costs. concentrate power as far as possible from the political sphere; ie, undermine democracy.
often tinged with an essentially contradictory moralism.
respect the sovereignty of no states or peoples, other than the US. open the entire globe for the exploitation of its labor and natural resources for purposes of private profit.
'neoconservatives' typically come with a heavy dose of the moralism and are more willing to achieve the bottom point through the use of naked military force, rather than through more indirect means (CIA, economic pressures, etc.)

Considering opebo's support for various authoritarian governments out of purely ideological reasons, it's hard to call him an "left-winger".

Support for inherited priveledges, his attachment to the so-caller "higher classes" and conservative monarchism is hardly leftist.

Your mother is reducible down to at most three or four simple points.
I knew before opening the thread that Tweed would include me on it (which is of course why my ego drove me to open it).
I think I largely agree with the consensus on here, that Torie, Phil and Spade are to my right and everyone else is to my left. Opebo may count on my right as well, depending on definitions.
The various left-wingers I find less interesting to classify. It all becomes very introspective on that level.

I assume the implication is that it could be five if she's ambidextrous.

Really? What are those "three or four simple points?"
1. Taxes are too high on the

job creators.
2. Taxes are too low on the
poor
lazy.
3. Capital should be free to do as it wishes, but not labor.
4. Corporations are people.
I'd puit it that way :
1 If we don't let inequalities prosper to the highest possible degree, we will disincentivize talent and encourage mediocrity
2 Taxes are
EVIL
: cut them as much as you can
3 The Welfare State is a way to subsidize laziness : nothing should be for free
4 Regulations are what prevent the market from working efficiently : abolish them and everything will be awesome
